When I was a younger mom I was lost, but she came in and became the support system that I needed. I was so close to crashing hard and I wouldn’t have been able to parent without her guidance. She gave me pointers when I needed them, directing me and encouraging me in the right direction. My kids at the time wouldn’t do anything without me nor would they let me out of their site, but she came in and helped turn that around. She would keep them occupied so I could have at least ten minutes of time alone to help my sanity and build patience. She helped me from as little as teaching the kids to clean up after themselves all the way to potty training them. The most important thing she helped me with was being a friend when I needed one and a good neighbor to me and my family. My kids and I are where we are today because of her. She’s inspired me, led me, and picked me up when I was down. She was the support system I wish everyone could have in their corner.
